Karakterre once again places Eisenstadt at the forefront of the international natural wine community. In the bright and airy Orangery of Esterházy Palace, growers, professionals and wine enthusiasts gather to explore the diversity of organic, biodynamic and natural wines from Central and Eastern Europe.
In 2026, Karakterre 18 returns to the Orangery of Esterházy Palace – a setting that reflects the festival’s spirit of openness, authenticity and craftsmanship. Over two days, selected winegrowers present their wines and share the principles and agricultural practices that shape their approach to sustainable viticulture.
For more than a decade, Karakterre has served as a leading platform for ecological winemaking, fostering dialogue, connection and collective progress. The event brings together people who see wine as both cultural heritage and a living expression of mindful agriculture.
