Dorli Muhr invites to a concert in the meadow at her winery on July 11. Puszta jazz with accordion and saxophone - a musical evening that is guaranteed to be memorable.

Music that gets under your skin and invites you to immerse yourself. Soprano saxophonist Sigi Finkel and accordionist Zoltan Migovics transform traditional elements of Hungarian folk music into contemporary jazz arrangements in their own compositions.

Zoltan Migovics, who comes from the Hungarian minority in western Ukraine, and Sigi Finkel, who was born in Germany but has lived in Vienna for many years and has a second home in Hungary, focus their music on the landscape of the Puszta. With melancholy and plenty of tempo, with passion and tenderness. With exciting improvisations, lots of good humor, and far removed from any clichés.

The concert will take place outdoors if possible. Guests will be seated on the lawn. Blankets can be provided, but please wear weather-appropriate clothing and appropriate footwear.

Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed.

About Weingut Dorli Muhr

Dorli Muhr, who for three decades has led the internationally renowned agency Wine+Partners, founded her own estate in 2002. The heart of the estate is a 0.17 hectare parcel that her grandmother received as a wedding gift in 1918. Plot by plot, Dorli Muhr has acquired sites on the Spitzerberg with notably mature Blaufränkisch vines. She transitioned her vineyards to organic and founded a new, extra-gentle vinification method to encourage the finest, most elegant expressions of the Blaufränkisch variety. In 2019, the Spitzerberg received its Erste Lage classification by the Österreichische Traditionsweingüter.
