When a female music group called GLAS sings at a winery, it can only be a match made in heaven.
GLAS means voice in most Slavic languages. The Vienna vocal ensemble GLAS features musicians whose roots stretch back to Bosnia, Croatia, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Hungary, and Iran, alongside Austrian singers. Their music is therefore colorful, spirited, and delicate, warm, loud, and soulful—just like the cosmopolitan city of Vienna itself.
At the concert at the Dorli Muhr Winery, located on the westernmost hill of the Carpathian Mountains, Glas invites you on a journey into the magical world of the Balkan regions, with wistful songs and tender harmonies from the Dalmatian coast, across the Bosnian mountains, through oriental landscapes to Bulgarian pastures and Macedonian festivals.
The concert will take place outdoors if possible. Guests will be seated on the lawn. We can provide blankets. Please bring jackets and sturdy shoes appropriate for the weather.
