Tour de Vin 2026 – Donau
The winery members of Österreichische Traditionsweingüter along the Danube will open their cellar doors on the first weekend in May and invite you to taste their wines, with a varied supporting programme and a Magnum Party on 2 May for all the young and young-at-heart.
The first weekend in May at the 41 ÖTW wineries in Kamptal, Kremstal, Traisental, and Wagram is all about outstanding wines, including those from guest winemakers. German Mosel winemaker Clemens Busch (VDP, Respekt Biodyn) will present his exceptional Rieslings at Karl Fritsch in Oberstockstall, and Tenuta del Nicchio, founded by Lodovico Antinori, one of the most exclusive Tuscan wineries, will be a guest at Josef Fritz in Zaußenberg.
The Tour de Vin Donau is a great opportunity to broaden your wine horizons – there are numerous workshops and 1ÖTW vintage verticals – learn new things and taste rare wines. You can explore the wine villages on foot, rent a bike or take a taxi. Culinary delights are provided by food trucks, pizza, and live cooking demonstrations. The ÖTW winemakers will bring the event to a spectacular close on Saturday evening (May 2, starting at 8:30 p.m.) at the legendary Magnum Party at the Loisium WeinWelt in Langenlois – with a shuttle bus to and from Krems.
