At the Tour de Vin in Vienna, visitors have the opportunity to experience wines full of character from top vineyards of ÖTW winegrowers from Austria's capital – with an exciting supporting programme.

Under the title “Wine in the City,” the nine Viennese ÖTW winemakers do just that: they bring their award-winning wines of origin to the city. More precisely: to the Markterei Markthalle in the 9th district, where they stage a chill after-work tasting with music and regional cuisine. Current vintages and matured rarities are tasted in an urban atmosphere – welcome to the wine-side of life!

About Österreichische Traditionsweingüter

The winegrowers association was founded in 1991 as a consortium between the Danube regions of Kamptal and Kremstal. 17 estates took part in a pilot project whose stated goal was the classification of Austrian vineyards. Over time, this grew to the current level of 92 members. The ÖTW sees the ÖTW.classification as a tool to provide wine aficionados with a clearer system for orientation and appreciation of appellations and sites.
