Wladerigoff Brothers on stage

On June 6, the Dorli Muhr Winery will once again become a wine and cultural hotspot: author and wine connoisseur Ilija Trojanow will meet wine critic Stephan Reinhardt for a conversation about literature, heritage, and the world of wine. The discussion will be accompanied by the exceptional Bulgarian musician brothers Wladigeroff.

Renowned author Ilija Trojanow is not only a writer, but also a passionate wine connoisseur. In his latest book, “Ein Glas voll Zeit” (A Glass Full of Time), he praises wine, but also takes a sharp-tongued jab at the excesses of the wine scene.

Stephan Reinhardt was already devoted to wine as a theater scholar at the University of Munich before he traded his lectern and stage for a wine glass at the turn of the millennium. He is now a long-standing wine critic for Robert Parker Wine Advocate, The World of Fine Wine, and wine columnist for the Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung. He has known the wines from Spitzerberg since the beginning of our winery.

The brothers Alexander and Konstantin Wladigeroff  are exceptional musicians and come from a legendary Bulgarian family of artists. With trumpet and clarinet, they take us on a journey that begins with the musical traditions of their homeland and culminates in Balkan jazz.

About Weingut Dorli Muhr

Dorli Muhr, who for three decades has led the internationally renowned agency Wine+Partners, founded her own estate in 2002. The heart of the estate is a 0.17 hectare parcel that her grandmother received as a wedding gift in 1918. Plot by plot, Dorli Muhr has acquired sites on the Spitzerberg with notably mature Blaufränkisch vines. She transitioned her vineyards to organic and founded a new, extra-gentle vinification method to encourage the finest, most elegant expressions of the Blaufränkisch variety. In 2019, the Spitzerberg received its Erste Lage classification by the Österreichische Traditionsweingüter.
