At the heart of the Arlberg Weinberg 2023 event series are expert conferences and tastings on the topics of soft pruning, fortified wines and 'fine wine'. The symposium takes place from Sunday, December 10th - Wednesday, December 13th. The series begins with a welcome lunch on Sunday, December 10th at the Hotel Gasthof Post in Lech.

After the welcome lunch, the first event of the symposium will take place. A conference on the viticulture topic "soft pruning" held by pioneer Marco Simonit (Simonit&Sirch) and Dr. Jamie Goode. Soft Pruning is an approach that causes less injury to grapevines while ensuring the buildup of important and vital wood mass, resulting in healthier vines that live longer.
