Douro Boys

Greetings from One of the World's Finest Wine Regions

The Douro Boys are a group of five renowned wine producers from the Douro Valley. Since founding their organization in 2003, they’ve toured the world together, using their own special brand of enthusiasm to raise awareness about what makes Douro wines special.

The fact that the Douro Valley in northern Portugal has gone from terra incognita to a popular travel destination for the international wine and gourmet scene owes its success in no small part to these five leading estates: Quinta do Vale Meão, Quinta Vale Dona Maria, Quinta do Crasto, Niepoort, and Quinta do Vallado.

In 2003, these renowned wine producers banded together to raise awareness about what makes Douro wines so special. They have come to represent not just the finest in Douro winemaking, but are also among the best and most in-demand estates in all of Portugal.
