It is one of the oldest and best-known wineries in the beautiful Alto Adige region. Its fresh and elegant wines, often crafted using the sensual grape variety Gewürztraminer, have been making waves on the international stage for years.

We’ve been whole-hearted supporters of this marquee winery and its PR work since 2011. Especially when Gewürztraminer-related projects are involved, it’s hard not to get caught up in the wave of pride and enthusiasm.

About Kellerei Tramin

Kellerei Tramin, founded in 1898 and thus one of the oldest wineries in Alto Adige, today works with 300 producers—respectfully known as “co-owners”—cultivating 260 hectares of vineyards in and around the famous wine town of Tramin. The vineyards are nestled between the communities of Tramin, Neumarkt, Montan, and Auer, all at elevations of between 250 and 850 meters. Connoisseurs consider wines from Alto Adige as among Europe’s finest—and among the most interesting, with rare grape varieties such as Gewürztraminer cultivated, often on unusual terroir.
