Wine+Partners supported the Traditionsweingüter association with its founding two decades ago, and since then has continued organising a range of press events on its behalf. 2010 saw the implementation of a site classification system, based on the DAC system. Wine+Partners was responsible for the relevant media work. Two years later, the Traditionsweingüter came together with the VDP and STK for a revolutionary event with the joint presentation of Erste Lage (Premier Cru) wines. The event was repeated in 2014. Wine+Partners arranged for journalists from Austria and abroad to travel to Grafenegg.

About Österreichische Traditionsweingüter

The winegrowers association was founded in 1991 as a consortium between the Danube regions of Kamptal and Kremstal. 17 estates took part in a pilot project whose stated goal was the classification of Austrian vineyards; over time, this grew to the current level of 77 members. The ÖTW sees the ÖTW.Klassifikation as a tool for providing wine aficionados with a clearer system for orientation and appreciation of appellations and sites.
