Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc grapes are planted worldwide and create regional styles and terroir wines across nearly all wine regions. So how do you get Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc from Central Europe noticed in the world of wine? Has Austria had any impact on the perception of these two varietals? What are the current drinking trends seen in these varietals – and how do they differ across countries and continents?
An all-star international panel will aim to answer these questions and many more! Cokie Ponikvar (cokiesworldofwine, Canada), Patrick Schmitt MW (Drinks Business, UK) and Aleksandar Zecevic (Wine Enthusiast, USA) will give their perspectives from across the globe on these pertinent topics. Moderation by senior wine consultant & lecturer Willi Klinger.
